Harvard Advanced Leadership Program
SACCA's leadership had a meeting earlier this year with Rosabeth Moss Kanter, Harvard Business School Professor and one of the founders of the Advanced Leadership Program. A discussion was had re: the great value that can be generated if leaders from Africa are alerted re: the program leading to applications. This program is targeted to senior leaders across the world (incumbent or former CEOs, founders or MDs) who post a period of achievement are seeking the next stage of making an impact on the world.
Details of the program:
Fellows pursue a common core curriculum of specially designed seminars and deep-dive Think Tanks and also have the entire University available to them for course audits. They also connect with students as mentors and study group leaders. Some fellows are also accompanied by their partners who are considered full participants in the program, providing an opportunity to engage and immerse both individuals in the unique experience of our program. Individually, fellows pursue impactful solutions of particular interest; collectively they collaborate on changing the world. Upon successful completion of the program, fellows are recognized as members of the Harvard Alumni AssociationPost-Fellowship, our Advanced Leadership participants have sought to create meaningful social change and have addressed issues as diverse as helping make higher education affordable for all families to delivering cost-effective energy solutions in Liberia. These alumni are now part of a vibrant, close knit, global network of peers who continue to engage with the Harvard community.
